You know that thing where people have said “Yeah, that’s what I meant by…” so many times that you are afraid to offer input any longer because nothing you say is going to be helpful, because “that’s what they meant by…”?

    Those tend to be words I say when either my brain didn’t explain right the first time or my brain didn’t process the reply and it’ll be another 10 minutes until it “gets there” and I’m like, “wait…”

    I think tone is super important. Sometimes it’s an excitement of “you get me!” but I don’t think that’s the kind you mean. :/
