Wednesday has arrived

It is Wednesday! That means we’re halfway through the work week. Or will be by about 1 pm, in my case.

Today includes a doctor appointment via phone, a bunch of InDesign work, and probably another hurried lunch in between mini panic attacks. Okay, I exaggerate. I don’t know if I actually have panic attacks. But have you ever had the thing when your stomach drops out and clenches at the same time, and your heart rate picks up, and it feels like you swallowed your heart, and you could cry or scream or snap someone’s head off, and you’re not sure which will happen, or if you’ll be able to stop?

That. Lunch in between those.

Huh. Panic is hard to describe.

Well, anyway. I already had one little frantic oh holy shit moment this morning. Actually started my day that way. Like, the first email I read was, “Hey, this thing wasn’t there, get another one,” and it wasn’t like a diamond or an Emmy award, but it was a difficult thing to replace, and I knew the thing was where it should have been when I left it for the next person, so yeah. Panic.

I hope, after the day job is done, I can get a walk in. I’d like to make meat, carrots, and mashed potatoes for dinner since we haven’t had that in a while and it tastes soooooo good. I’ll hopefully have time to read another chapter of my new book at some point today, but clearly not right now. I just realized it’s a quarter to nine, and I still need to shower and get dressed for work.

I really do like working from home, I must say.

I hope you have a great day!

And if you don’t have a great day, I hope you have a good day.

And if you don’t have a good day, I hope tomorrow is better.

Loves!

  1. I’m reading backwards. Sorry to know that this is one of your last days working from home!
