Quick?

It’s Mother’s Day – Happy Mother’s Day if that applies to you. It applies to me, and I’ve received three lovely hand drawn cards from my youngest, and my eldest wished me HMD on behalf of him, and every cat in the house.

I don’t have much time to write this morning, and I’m afraid if I don’t do it now I’ll forget. And my streak, man. My streak.

I will be working outside the house today. I have a coworker who also has a cleaning business, and occasionally she calls me to help with vacuuming/floors in vacant houses so the job doesn’t take all day for her and her regular assistant. No one has lived in the home in months, since the beginning of the year, and so I feel safe going in and helping out. I’ll still be wearing my mask the entire time, and probably a pair of gloves to make my hands sweat and prune up properly.

After that, I need to stop by Target for order pickup. I suppose most people might not consider a sketch pad, erasers, and glue sticks essential, but they are in this case. I feel a bit easier about it since I won’t actually have to go through the store. I can just pick it up at Customer Service, and go. Once again, masked up and avoiding other humans.

And I need to make a stop by my office this morning as well. There are materials that need to be photocopied and printed, and while our home does have a printer, it hasn’t been used since I purchased it well over a year ago, so I’m not even certain that it’ll work. My office has been closed since mid-March, though, so I feel safe about that trip, too.

I filmed last night and posted it on Patreon this morning, so it’ll be available for everyone tomorrow morning. I’m thinking about filming some today in the car as I’m out and about, but we’ll see if that actually happens.

And if everything all works out, I should be home in time for making dinner. A busy, busy day.

Wish me luck.

Loves.

  1. Good luck! It’ll be okay.
I was reading that the issue is being in enclosed spaces with other people. So, three people in a house, low chance of an issue. 100 people in an office, high chance of an issue. Grocery stores (for shoppers, who are only there for a small amount of time) are pretty safe. Just, wash your hands and stay away from people.
    Anyway… have fun!

It worked out pretty well, although spending four hours vacuuming is rough since I’m so stupid tall. My back still ached this morning after my walk!
