Hi! I know you stopped by looking for an A-Z post of a short story, or perhaps the craft of writing. Perhaps you even looked so far as to see that my theme is “Catching Up.” Well, while I am spending a couple of days “catching up”, so at least on that point I’m on theme, there may actually be no fiction or writing talk.

So I am a mother of two, known here as Elder Youth and Junior Youth. JY is the kind of child who likes to give things names that do not resemble the actual things. So please enjoy these pictures of cats (also known as “chickens”, due to their habit of sticking one leg in the air while bathing their difficult-to-reach bits, I believe), and also the occasional parakeet (birb).
